     "I really don't like dressing up!" Kyurem complained as he looked reproachfully at the tuxedo Reshiram had bought him.
     "Well, that's just too bad." Reshiram said unsympathetically. "I'm going to go get ready. I better see you in that tuxedo by the time I'm done or else."
     "Or else what?" Kyurem inquired.
     "Or else no Casteliacones for a month." She threatened. Kyurem groaned.
     "Alright, fine. I'll get ready." He said, throwing his arms up. Reshiram nodded and grabbed Victini's arm.
     "And you. We have to get you all dolled up." She said cheerfully as she dragged Victini to her room. Victini sat down on her bed as Reshiram began rummaging through her closet. She had already dressed up in a beautiful red dress, and her white hair was no longer in her signature ponytails. "Where did I put it? I just bought it today!" She said. Victini picked up what looked like an extremely short dress off the floor.
     "Uh, don't tell me you wear dresses this short..." Victini said, looking at it awkwardly. Reshiram looked at the dress and giggled.
     "No, honey. On me that's a shirt." She replied.
     "Oh." Victini said, placing it on the nightstand. After moving clothes around, Reshiram finally grabbed something.
     "Aha! There it is!" She said. She took it out and showed it to Victini. "Here's your dress! Isn't it wonderful?" Victini looked at the dress with wide eyes. She nodded.
     "It's beautiful." She said. It was a beautiful gold satin dress, and it seemed to sparkle in the light. It was adorned with little crystals that reflected the light every which way, and made it look like the dress was glowing. "But, it's a little too pretty for me. I don't know if I could wear it..." She said. Reshiram gaped at her.
     "What? No no, don't give me that crap! You'll look beautiful in this dress. Now go put it on!" She handed it to Victini and walked out of the room to let her change. Once Victini had put it on, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She did look nice. She called Reshiram back in, who immediately squealed in delight at the sight of her wearing the dress.
     "Oh, you look so pretty!" She said. She grabbed Victini's arm and plopped her in the chair in front of her mirror. "Now, the face." Reshiram began putting make-up on her face, reminding Victini to hold still every five seconds.
     "Hey Reshi, can I ask you something?" Victini asked her. Reshiram picked up an eye liner pencil and started doing her eyes.
     "Go ahead." She replied.
     "A couple days ago, Darkrai mentioned something about Kyurem and destroying a town or something. He did something bad a long time ago, didn't he?" Reshiram's hand jerked and a black line ran from the corner of Victini's eye and across her temple.
     "Oh crap!" She said. She set down the pencil and picked up a tissue. She wiped at her temple, her face pale.
     "It's okay, don't worry about it." Victini said. Reshiram shook her head.
     "No... It's not. How did you figure it out?" She asked, her blue eyes shiny.
     "Well, he avoided answering the question... And sometimes it seems like he's hiding something. What's wrong with him?" Victini said. Reshiram sighed.
     "Just keep this to yourself, do you promise?" Victini nodded. Reshiram began redoing Victini's makeup and fixing her hair while she talked. "This happened awhile ago. But for a legendary, a long time period can seem much shorter. It was around this time that Kyurem started terrorizing the people of Lacunosa Town. During the day, he was the same funny, loving person he normally is. But at night, he'd go crazy. We don't know why, but he started attacking civilians, and destroying parts of the town. I'm sure you know about the walls surrounding Lacunosa Town? Well, they built them to keep him out. And eventually, he stopped attacking. But it started getting worse, and he'd attack people on the routes. And one day, he attacked a small town near Giant Chasm. And that's where Zekrom and I had to step in and try and stop him. It was horrible, what he did. He doesn't realize how strong he is, and how much destruction he's capable of doing. That's why at night, he usually locks his door and the windows. He's still scared. He jokes around and is nice to everyone because he thinks that if he does that, it can make up for what he did, and everyone will eventually forget the old Kyurem and remember the new one." Reshiram began arranging Victini's fiery orange curls atop her head with pins.
     "I never realized it was that..." She said. "I'm sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have brought it up." Reshiram shook her head.
     "No, it's alright. Maybe it's better I told you. Now you'll know Kyurem a little better. I care about him, and I just want him to be happy. I don't want people just judging him on what he's done in the past."
     "I would never do that." Victini said. "One more thing. It's about Zekrom. Does he act the way he does because of something that happened to the girl he mentioned, Emily? Who is she?" Reshiram got a sort of sad look in her eyes.
     "Emily used to be his girlfriend. She was a Swanna Pokehuman. " She said. Victini nodded slowly. "She was really nice and pretty. I think she was the only one who could calm him down or get him to talk about his feelings. You remind me a lot of her. You were both persistent, kind-hearted, and easy to be around. And I think that's why Zekrom tends to push you away or act weird. You remind him too much of her."
     "What happened to her?" Victini asked.
     "I don't think it's my place to tell you. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure what happened myself. But I know it was bad. I think it would be best if Zekrom told you." Victini snorted.
     "I don't think he'll ever want to." She said. Reshiram smiled.
     "I wouldn't be so sure. I think you'll find a way to get him to tell you. Or, he might just tell you once he finds the courage. Don't let him upset you. He's always been a little cold and shuts himself off. But, you just might be the one to turn that around." Victini smiled. Reshiram made a noise of triumph and put a comb back on the table. "There! You're all done! What do you think?" Victini looked at herself in the mirror and gaped. Her hair was done on top of her head, with some strands hanging down. It made her look regal. And her makeup was perfect. It wasn't a lot at all. Just enough to make her face stand out more. Reshiram grabbed a necklace from a box on her table and put it around Victini's neck. It was a light gold chain with a blue jewel. With her stunning gold dress, she barely recognized herself.
     "I look... Beautiful." Victini said. Reshiram smiled.
     "I'm glad you like it." She sighed. "You know, I've never really had a friend I could talk to or hang out with. Of course, I had my brothers. But they're no fun to go shopping with. You're the first girl friend that I've had." Victini stood up and hugged Reshiram.
     "I really couldn't ask for a better friend." She said. Reshiram got a pair of black shoes and gave them to Victini, who slipped them on her feet. Just then, the door opened and Cresselia walked in. She was wearing a beautiful sapphire dress adorned with shining crescent moons. When she saw Victini, she beamed.
     "Oh, you look so beautiful!" She exclaimed.
     "Doesn't she?" Reshiram said cheerfully. "So, is everyone ready?"
     "Kyurem, Zekrom, Meloetta, and Genesect are all ready the last time I checked. Darkrai, I'm not sure."
     "Well, lets go down stairs and get ready to leave." Reshiram said. They walked down the stairs and saw the rest of the group waiting near the door. Meloetta had on a black dress with white frills, and black gloves all the way up to her elbows. She was fixing Genesect's tie. He was wearing a black dress shirt and was standing their awkwardly as Meloetta stood on the tips of her toes, trying to fix his tie.  Kyurem was wearing his tuxedo with a light blue bowtie, and he looked uncomfortable, always pulling at it and pulling at his sleeves. Zekrom was also dressed up in a tux, with a blue tie. The minute Victini walked down the stairs, they both stared at her. Kyurem gaped at her. Zekrom's eyes were wide. Victini shifted uncomfortably.
     "Uh, hi." She said. Kyurem blinked.
     "You look-"
     "Beautiful." Zekrom finished his sentence. Victini smiled at them.
     "Uh, you guys look nice too." She said. Kyurem shook his head.
     "You look incredible." He said. Reshiram had a proud look on her face.
     "I am a genius, aren't I?" She said. Then, Darkrai finally came down the stairs and walked up to the group. Unsurprisingly, he had a tuxedo on, but the shirt under it was red. His blue eyes widened when he saw Cresselia.
     "Well, you cleaned up very nicely." He said. Cresselia smiled.
     "You don't look so bad yourself." She replied. Reshiram grabbed her coat.
     "Alright, can we get going now? I can't wait any longer!" She opened the door. Victini put on her coat, but before she could walk out the door, Zekrom stopped her.
     "Wait." Victini looked at him.
     "What is it?" She asked. Zekrom looked at her hair, and the pins holding it up. He gently pulled out all the pins, letting Victini's hair fall down around her in fiery curls. She looked up at him. "Is it better?" She asked.
     "Perfect." Zekrom said. Victini didn't notice Kyurem standing near them, his jaw set and his yellow eyes upset. He shook his head and walked out the door. Victini looked at him as he left.
     "Um, is he okay?" She asked. Zekrom sighed.
     "He'll be fine." He said. He offered Victini his arm and she took it. "Come on. We have a party to crash."

                            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     "This place is huge!" Reshiram exclaimed. They had arrived in Nimbasa, at the building Articuno had told Zekrom about. It was pretty big. At least six stories. And it stretched out towards the back, so it was probably much bigger on the inside. The windows on the first level were normal. Golden and different colored light was coming from inside, and music could be heard too. But the windows on the second floor and above we're dark. It was obviously some kind of headquarters building.
     "So, how do we get in?" Cresselia asked. "Everyone else seems to have some invitation." He was right. The people in line waiting to enter all showed the security guards some fancy slip of paper. Darkrai smiled.
     "I have an idea." He walked up to a group of people waiting at the back of the line. He started talking to them, and Victini thought she saw their eyes start glowing. They suddenly handed Darkrai their tickets. Then, they turned and walked away from the building. He walked back to the group, a triumphant smirk on his face. He waved the tickets around. "There we go. Now we can get in." Cresselia glared at him and whacked him on the head.
     "Really? Mind control?" She chastised him. Darkrai shrugged.
     "It worked, didn't it? Now, lets go." The group made their way towards the line, and finally made it to the security guards. They handed them their tickets. One of the guards eyed them with a weird look and then let them inside. Once they were in, Victini looked around in awe. The inside was like a giant ballroom. There were lights and streamers everywhere. Tables with food and drinks lined an entire wall. A huge stereo system was set up at the end, and there was also a band playing. In the middle, people danced, while those on the outside talked amongst each other.
     "Oh wow." She said. "They really outdid themselves."
     "That's Nimbasa for you." Zekrom said next to her. "But listen, we can't forget why we're here. We'll stick around here a little while, but we have to find a way into the rest of the building." Everyone split up. Darkrai and Cresselia went to go dancing, Kyurem to get food, and Meloetta was hanging around the band. Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini were left.
     "Listen, I'm gonna go look around. If anything happens, just yell." Zekrom said before walking away. Reshiram put a hand on her hip.
     "And there he goes." She looked at Victini. "Don't worry, I think he's gonna come back pretty soon. Maybe he'll ask you to dance." Victini blushed.
     "Uh, yeah." Reshiram smiled.
     "I think I'm gonna dance. Are you gonna be okay?" Victini nodded. "Alright, well I see a cute guy. See ya!" Reshiram ran away, leaving Victini standing there alone. She looked around and saw Kyurem at the food table, eating what looked like cake. She smiled and walked up to him. When he saw her, his expression lit up, but it didn't seem as happy as it usually was.
     "Oh, hey." He had a plate of cake in his hand. "You want some cake?" Victini shook her head.
     "No, I'm good." She looked at him suspiciously. "Is something wrong? You seem upset." Kyurem looked away.
     "Oh, uh, no. I'm fine. Just a little nervous." He replied. Victini took his hand. He looked at her. "What are you doing?"
     "Come on, lets dance!" She said, trying to pull Kyurem towards the middle of the room. He sighed.
     "Alright, fine. You don't have to rip my arm off." Victini laughed. The music was a little slow, but it was energetic. She put her arms around Kyurem's shoulders and they started swinging to the beat of the music. "Um, I'm not a good dancer." Kyurem said after almost stepping on Victini's foot.
     "It's okay. I'm not either." She said, smiling. "So, do you have any idea how we're gonna sneak into the headquarters?" Kyurem shook his head.
     "No clue. But I'm sure we'll figure it out. I could always freeze everyone. That might work." Victini laughed. Kyurem smiled. "I know I've probably said this a lot, but wow. You look really nice." Victini blushed.
     "Thank you. And might I say, you look nice too." She said.
     "Oh no no no. My lady, I do believe you are the one looking nice today." Kyurem replied in a fake accent. "And I, for one, look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards." Victini giggled.
     "Yes, your outfit is very 'hedgey.'" She said. Kyurem laughed.
     "You're funny." He said.
     "I guess it's from hanging out with you." Victini replied. They continued dancing and laughing. Then, the music slowed down, and now it was a slow dance. Victini let go of Kyurem. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around to see Zekrom looking at her expectantly.
     "Uh, I was wondering if I could dance with you." He said. Victini smiled.
     Reshi was right... She thought. She looked at Kyurem. "Uh, are you gonna be okay?" She asked. Kyurem sighed.
     "Yeah, I'll be fine. Go ahead, dance." He smiled at her and walked away. She turned to Zekrom, who was standing there patiently. She rested her hands on his shoulders, and he placed his on her waist. They started moving slowly to the music. Victini looked up at him.
     "So, did you, uh, find anything?" She asked him. He nodded.
     "Yeah. There's a set of doors with a bunch of guards around it. I'm pretty sure that's our ticket inside. I guess once this dance is over, we'll go find everyone else." Victini nodded. She looked up at Zekrom's red eyes.
     "Well, at least we got to dance, right?" He smiled.
     "Yeah. I don't usually dance, but I can make an exception." He said. Victini hesitantly rested her head on his chest. Zekrom stiffened at first, but then relaxed.
     "Can I tell you something?" Victini asked.
     "Hm?" Zekrom replied. Victini hesitated.
     "I'm nervous." She said. Zekrom looked down at her.
     "Me too. I think we're all nervous. I'm just worried something bad is going to happen. But, don't think about that. Or else you'll just be distracted."
     "How do you think we're going to get through this?"
     "I don't really know. We can just hope and do." Victini sighed. "Hey, don't get all worried. I know you're nervous, but we're gonna get through this."
     "I know. I'm sorry." Victini replied. "But I always worry about everything." Zekrom shook his head.
     "Don't apologize. That doesn't make you worse or anything. That's just who you are." Victini looked up at him. His red eyes were soft. But they then shifted slightly when he looked at her. There it was. The sort of pained look.
     "What's wrong?" Victini asked. Zekrom looked away.
     "Nothing. Don't worry about it." He said. The song began to fade and then it ended. Victini reluctantly let go of Zekrom. He looked around.
     "Come on. Lets go find the others."
                                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     "So, would you like to dance?" Darkrai asked Cresselia once they made their way to the dance floor. She smiled and put her arms on his shoulders.
     "Why not?" She said. Darkrai smirked and spun her around.
     "Maybe I'm a little too intimidating. " He replied. Cresselia rolled her eyes. She looked around at everyone. She smiled when she saw Kyurem and Victini dancing together.
     "I didn't know you could dance." Cresselia said when Darkrai spun her around again.
     "I can. I just choose not to." He replied.
     "Why?"
     "Personally, I don't like being around other people, especially when I'm dancing. And, I don't usually like the fact of someone clinging to me."
     "You could always cling to someone instead of the other way around." Darkrai raised an eyebrow.
     "Is that supposed to be a joke?" He asked. Cresselia laughed.
     "Yes, definitely. I can't imagine you doing that at all. It's just too funny." Darkrai smiled. Cresselia looked thoughtfully at him.
     "Um, I was meaning to ask you this for awhile now. But, please don't get the wrong idea. I'm just curious." Darkrai looked at her expectantly. "Why are you helping them? I know it's not out of the goodness of your heart. You have a reason. And if I'm gonna stick around with you to help, I want to know." Darkrai pursed his lip.
     "I had a feeling you'd ask me that sooner or later." He said. "You're right, I do have my reasons. And, I actually told Zekrom about it back in Castelia awhile ago. He wouldn't stop until I told him." Cresselia cocked her head to the side.
     "What is it?" She asked. Darkrai seemed to stare at something.
     "I'm hoping that by doing this, I can make up for some things I've done in the past." Cresselia furrowed her brows.
     "What do you mean? What things?" Her eyes widened. "Darkrai, is this is about what happened with Palkia? That wasn't your fault." Darkrai flinched.
     "Yes it is. I never told you the entire story. But it's my fault they were found out." Cresselia blinked.
     "Did you tell Arceus?" She asked in slight disbelief. He shook his head.
     "No. I wouldn't do that. Besides, he wouldn't listen to me. I was supposed to help Palkia keep it a secret, but it would have made everything worse. So, I told a few others, and that's how Arceus found out..." Cresselia looked like she hadn't expected that at all.
     "He was your friend." She said quietly.
     "Yes, and friends do what's best for their friends. Cresselia, don't tell me that what was going on was not going to get worse. I tried ending it because if I let it go on, it would end badly. Very badly."
     "But it did end badly. That's why Palkia hates you, isn't it? He thinks you betrayed him. And then Arceus had you-" Darkrai let go of her and backed away.
     "We're not talking about this anymore. But now you know. This is one of the reasons I'm helping." He said.
     "But, you did what you thought was best. This can't be the worst you've done." She reached for his arm, but he pulled it away.
     "Whatever. Just drop it. There's really nothing I can do right now except try and help the others." Cresselia sighed and shook her head. The slow song that was playing had ended now. Before she could ask Darkrai if he wanted to do something else, Zekrom came up to them, Victini and Zekrom in tow.
     "Hey, I think I just found a way in. We need to find everyone else and get going." They wandered around the room until they found Reshiram dancing with some boy, probably the one she pointed out earlier. Zekrom interrupted their dance and had dragged a mutinous Reshiram away. They found Meloetta and Genesect near the music set up. She was trying to teach him how to dance, but he didn't seem to get it. Once they were all together, Zekrom explained the plan.
     "There's a huge set of doors at the end of the room with a bunch of guards. We have to sneak by them to get into the rest of the building."
     "And how do we do that?" Darkrai asked. Zekrom turned to Meloetta.
     "Meloetta, I want you to make a distraction. You're gonna get up on the stage and sing, and make sure you get the guards' attention too. Once everyone's distracted, we'll blow out the security cameras and run through the doors. Everyone understand?" They all nodded. "Alright, lets go." Meloetta immediately hopped onto the stage, much to the band's disbelief, and grabbed a microphone. She began singing, first a little quietly to keep the band under control, and then louder so the whole room could hear her. Everyone stopped what they were doing and crowded around the stage to hear her sing, their mouths agape and their eyes wide. Eventually, the guards around the door walked up to the crowd to hear her singing as well. Zekrom walked slowly up to the door and shot one of the cameras with a bolt of lightning, destroying it. Kyurem froze another one, and Reshiram destroyed the other. Zekrom then tried openjng the doors, but they were locked. He swore and looked around. He stopped at one of the guards. He had a ring attached to his belt, with a single key.
     "I'll get it." Victini volunteered. She sneaked up to the guard and gingerly took the key from his belt. Suddenly, one of the guards standing next to him turned around and saw Victini. He blinked his eyes as if he didn't know what had just happened, but then he yelled at her.
     "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Victini yelped and made a dash with the keys. But, the guard quickly grabbed her arm and stopped her from running away. The other guards came to their senses and noticed what was going on. The guard made a fist and prepared to punch Victini, but a flash of blue electricity hit him square in the face, and he let go of her. Victini turned around and burned another guard with a Flamethrower. The people in the crowd started noticing what was going on and began panicking. Meloetta looked around nervously and started singing louder. A calm, slow song. The people fell silent and ignored the havoc that was breaking loose among them. Victini ran to the doors and quickly tried to unlock them. The rest of the guards were advancing on them. Zekrom smiled coldly and his signature axe appeared in his hand. One of the guards flew at him with a flaming fist. So, they were Pokehumans. Zekrom deflected it with his axe and kicked the man in the face. He swung the axe and the electricity sent the man flying. Reshiram's legs became engulfed in flames, and she kicked another guard in the stomach, and he fell down. Kyurem froze another into an ice statue, and laughed. Victini unlocked the door.
     "Hey! Lets go!" Meloetta stopped singing and ran off the stage towards the group. A guard that made a grab for her was stopped by a hard punch from Genesect. Darkrai and Cresselia took care of the rest of the guards, and they all went through the doors, shutting and locking them. Zekrom's axe glowed and disappeared. He looked around. A long hallway stretched in front of them.
     "Come on, lets go." He said. They started running down the halls, destroying every camera that they found on the walls. When they rounded a corner, they were stopped by a huge number of guards, armed with all kinds of weapons. They all seemed prepared, like they were expecting them. A voice began talking over some kind of loud speaker. Victini's blood chilled. She recognized that voice.
      "Hello there, legendaries. It looks like you've tried sneaking into our headquarters. I'll have you know that I know what you're planning. I know what you're going to do. This is all going to be a game. And you'll be on the losing side."
     "What? Who are you?" Zekrom yelled. The voice laughed darkly.
     "I'm just one of the players. Now, let the games begin!" The voice went silent, and all Victini saw were the guards rushing at them, and all chaos breaking loose.
